OUTREACH/MISSIONS
The essence of Glad Tidings Church is its commitment to SHARE the Good News with others.
- "But when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, you will receive power and will tell people about me everywhere--in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." (Acts 1:8)
- "Instead, you must worship Christ as Lord of your life. And if you are asked about your Christian hope, always be ready to explain it." (1 Peter 3:15)
We desire to make an impact on winning the lost for Christ, produce a multitude of servants to send into the mission field, and be obedient to Gods commands. It is our desire to extend the horizon of ministry opportunities for the GTC as a whole and for groups or individuals. We plan to do this three ways:
Local Outreach/Missions - To be involved in our community and to help make an impact on the future of our environment. Every GTC member is a minister who must become part of the solution and the army that will bring our city and nation to the Lord. Our goal for Local Outreach/Missions is:
- To help meet the needs of the community and win the lost for Christ through involvement in existing secular and Christian programs.
- Provide opportunity for our members to implement their God given talents outside the walls of their comfort zone.
- Provide an avenue for ministry involvement to those not monetarily able to travel on missions trips.
- Increase the opportunity to minister to the lost.

Global Outreach/Missions - To make an impact on winning the lost for Christ, produce a multitude of servants to send into the mission field, and be obedient to God’s commands. It is our desire to extend the horizon of ministry opportunities for GTC as a whole and for groups or individuals.
- Support Missions programs around the world to impact un-reached groups.
- Seek existing ministries that are effectively winning the lost for Christ and are involved in teaching and equipping them for works of service.
- Train, equip, send and support missionaries from GTC for the work they have been called by God to do.

Mission Awareness - Education is the key to success for Outreach/Missions support by GTC. We aim to do the following:
- Develop an awareness of the ministerial needs that exist in different parts of the world
- Provide accountability to the members for the missions budget and information of the ministries that are being carried out as a result of their financial and personal support.
- Develop awareness in our members for the need to be actively involved in outreach ministry.
- Provide an opportunity to gather all missionaries together to review their individual programs, review their objective statement, financial support status, and exchange ideas and information and to plan trips and events for the coming year.
